SRO Motorsports Group announced Corvette as the Official Car Supplier to the 2008 FIA GT Championship, FIA GT3 European Championship and the GT4 European Cup.
Corvette supplied two Corvette Z06 models as Safety and Leading cars for the first two rounds of the FIA GT Championship at Silverstone and Monza, and will provide four cars for the remaining meetings of the 2008 season.
