Brit GT: FF Corse to add British GT campaign

GT Cup squad FF Corse is planning to enter selected rounds of the British GT Championship this season.

The Silverstone-based outfit, which has already confirmed a three-car GT Cup assault for 2010, has homologated its Ferrari 430 Challenge cars to run in the British GT Championship’s revived GTC class.

“We have grown as a team across the past few seasons and feel it’s time to step up a notch,” team boss Anthony Cheshire told Motorsport News.

“We are keen to build a ladder of progression where we can take drivers through club competition like the Ferrari Open series right up to the top level of domestic GT racing.

“Running in the GTC class means we can try the series without having to upgrade our 430s to full GT3-spec.”

FF Corse also plans to run cars in the new Trofeo Abarth 500 this season under the FF Corse Junior Team banner.
