Brit GT: Broadhurst closing on Chad Racing seat

Ginetta racer, Michael Broadhurst, is hoping to tie up a deal to drive for Chad Racing in British GT this season.

The 21-year-old has already tested one of the team’s 2008 Ferrari 430s and is planning to step up to GT3 machinery this year having ran dual campaigns in the Ginetta G50 Cup and GT4 European Cup last year.

“The Ferrari was an immense car and very different from what I’m used to,” Broadhurst told Motorsport News. “It was surprisingly predictable in the wet and had great grip.

“I’m looking to climb up the GT ladder and British GT3 is the most viable option. I’m talking to Chad about opportunities and hopefully we can do a wheel.”

Chad Racing has already confirmed that it will enter one Ferrari 430 Scuderia for race winner Dan Brown and Chris Hyman.
