SPEED: 3 new squads sign up

Three new teams will join the SPEED Series grid in 2010 as the Le Mans-style racing category continues to grow.

The British-based series, formerly known as VdeV UK caters for CN sportscars and will also run a class for Bike Engined Sports Cars (BESCR) this season.

The new squads will all compete in the CN class and the leading new entry comes from Le Mans Series outfit Team WFR, which also has experience in British GT racing as Embassy Racing.

Mohsin Rashid and Adriano Medeiros will also enter a car under the Accurate Racing banner, while series organisers have also received an entry for a Juno from Zubin Randeria and James Fillingham.

The new additions to the grid join six other SPEED regulars from all across Europe including the UK, Italy, France and Belgium. The BESCR class has already attracted 11 entries with more expected to follow.
