SPEED: Rising Star Bradshaw joins series

BRDC Rising Star Tom Bradshaw will race in the SPEED series in 2010 alongside his Porsche Carrera Cup GB commitments.

Bradshaw, who scored his first Carrera Cup podium last weekend at Brands Hatch, will share a second RLR Motorsport Ligier with Belgian racer Christophe Burrick.

The 21-year-old Blackburn-based driver made the switch to the Carrera Cup at the beginning of the 2009 season after a career in single-seaters which saw him win the Club Formula Ford Championship and finish as runner-up in the Formula Palmer Audi Championship.

Bradshaw is set to join the SPEED series grid for the next round at Brands Hatch later this month.

Watch highlights of the opening round of the SPEED series from Silverstone on Friday 14 May at 6.35pm (BST) on Motors TV.
