LMS: Norma to be represented on LMP2 grid

Sportscar manufacturer Norma is set to be present on the Le Mans Series grid for the first time this season.

French squad Pegasus Racing will run the firm’s new LMP2 spec M200 in the European-based series. The chassis will be powered by a Judd V8 engine.

Norma’s return marks its first appearance at the top level of sportscar racing since Edouard Sezionale ran a privateer Ford-powered M2000 raced at the Le Mans 24 Hours in 2003.

Meanwhile, Pegasus Racing, which joined the Le Mans Series last year, has also confirmed that it will return for a second season with its Courage-AER (pictured).
