Fiore confirmed for Bathurst 12 Hours

V8 Supercar racer Dean Fiore has been confirmed as Hallmarc Racing’s third driver for the annual Bathurst 12 Hour endurance race which will take place at the iconic Australian circuit in February.

The 27-year-old Fiore will swap his Triple F Racing Ford FG Falcon that he has driven in the V8 Supercar Championship this year, for a Porsche GT3 Cup S. He will share driving duties with the car’s owner, Marc Cini, and David Reynolds, who also has V8 Supercar experience.

All three drivers also have significant experience behind the wheel of the Porsche having competed as rivals in the Carrera Cup in recent years, while Cini is a regular in both the GT3 Cup and Cup S versions of the car in the Australian GT Championship.

“I've been mates with Marc for a while now as we used to race in Carrera Cup together,” Fiore explained. “I am really looking forward to 12 hours around the iconic Bathurst track. You can never have too many miles around the mountain.

"I am also really good mates with Dave, so we should all make for a ripper team."

The race will take place on the 4-6 February at Mount Panorama.
