de Ferran mechanic goes home.

Injured de Ferran crew member Keith Jones degraded to 'good condition'; will continue rehab at Wishard Health Services on an outpatient basis.
Injured de Ferran Motorsports crew member Keith Jones has been released from the Richard Fairbanks Burn Centre, as his condition was downgraded to 'good' Wednesday.

Jones, who spent three weeks at the Fairbanks Burn Centre, will now continue his recovery at his Greenwood home with outpatient rehabilitation at Wishard Health Services on a regular basis.

Jones was injured in a pit incident in the American Le Mans Series race on July 19 at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.

Jones has been a veteran crew member of the ALMS and IndyCar Series for over ten years including stints at Panther Racing, Andretti Green Racing and de Ferran Motorsports.

Many American Le Mans Series and IndyCar Series teams supported Jones' recovery effort last weekend by donning 'Get Well Jonesie' stickers during the American Le Mans Series race at Road America and IndyCar Series race at Kentucky Speedway.

A special fund has also now been established to assist Jones in his recovery process.

The Keith E. Jones Fund was established last week at National City Bank. Contributions to the fund can be made at any National City Bank.

Best wishes can be sent to the de Ferran Motorsports headquarters.

The address is:
