Thundersport GB: Cadwell Park preview

The mountain circuit of Cadwell Park is up next for the Thundersport GB competitors as we call upon the hills of Lincolnshire for our next showing.

With full grids in each class, the quiet, green and tranquil scenery is disrupted with the sound of all types of motorcycle racing machinery battling to become Champions of their classes.

Famous for creating stars in Casey Stoner and James Toseland, the Aprilia Dunlop Superteens is the class to watch if you’re interested in following future World Champions. The series is for riders aged 12-18 and the all-black Aprilia 125cc production based motorcycles make for great viewing with 40 youngsters on equal machinery looking to have their name engraved on the illustrious Superteen title.

Last year's overall Champion Fraser Rogers can be seen in action as he moves up a grade into the E2E Solutions GP3 category, a series featuring the last of the genuine racing classes with all riders on 125 GP bikes. Again, it's a field packed with talent and electrifying action.

The CIA Insurance GP1 Powerbike class meanwhile features riders with a few more years of experience on their side. This is particularly true of defending champion Gary May from Hungerford who has a battle on his hands to defend two crowns he rightfully won in 2008.

This along with the GiMoto Streetfighters, the BSN.COM Junior Powerbikes and much, much more, should give you the viewer some great action throughout the show.

With Presenter Steve Day talking you through the various classes, interviewing key riders and team personnel and Robin Murphy joining him in the commentary box, you’ll be kept up to date with all the information you need as Thundersport GB visits Cadwell Park.
