53 bikes, including six with full factory support, will take on the opening round of the 2011 FIM World Endurance Championship next weekend as the new season begins with the Bol d’Or at Magny-Cours.
The factory Suzuki team has taken victory in the final round of the FIM World Endurance Championship, sealing the title for the Japanese manufacturer.
Riders Vincent Philippe, Sylvain Guintoli and Kenny Foray's win in the 8 Hours of Doha was their second of the season, and ensured Suzuki their seventh title in ten years. They won by a resounding four laps from 2009's championship-winning Yamaha Austria machine of Igor Jerman, Steve Martin and Gwen Giabbani.
