MX1: Boissiere ruled out of Limburg GP

Anthony Boissiere has been ruled out of this weekend’s Grand Prix of Limburg in Lommel.

The TM Racing factory rider has not recovered from a back injury suffered in a fall at the recent GP of Sweden and is also doubtful for the trip to Loket in the Czech Republic next weekend.

“My back problem is more serious than I expected,” said the Frenchman, who currently lies 13th in the World Championship standings with a best result of fifth in his home Grand Prix in June.

“I’m fine now and the doctors have given me the ok to do some testing. Even though it will not be easy, I will do my best to be able to race in Loket because I really like the track and because the Bonver Group, which is a sponsor of my team, is also the main sponsor of the Czech GP.”

Boissiere’s absence from the field this weekend leaves Italian manufacturer TM with just one representative in Lommel, Martin Michek, who will ride his TM 250Fi in the MX2 championship.
