Three divisions, world class all-terrain riders from the four corners of the planet and a plethora of constructors all battling for top honours, that is the World Enduro Championship! The WEC is arguably the most difficult motorcycle racing championship known to man. Six hours on the bike each day with two or three timed sections in the three challenges for each rider, the cross test, the enduro test and the very trial like extreme test to determine who is the fastest, most agile and most clever rider in E1, E2 and E3.
Finland is perhaps the best represented country in enduro circles with champions such as Juha Salminen, Marko Tarkkala and Samuli Aro. France has a strong list of young riders ready to claim their fame with the likes of Johnny Aubert and Marc German. Spain is represented by multiple world champion Ivan Cervantes as well as a strong group of up and comers like Xavi Gallinfo and Cristobal Guerrero.
At the end of the eight round WEC season comes the International Six Days of Enduro which sees individual glory take a back seat to national pride, where season long rivals become team mates to race in a two wheel world cup format.
